ABOUT ME

I'm Kristin, wife and mother of 3 boys ages 10, 7, and 1. We also have a furry friend, our cat, Lucy. About 2 years ago we had two big life transformations, we built our dream home on 10 acres of land and welcomed our third child. 

After 11 years of working as a School Counselor, I decided it was time to stay at home with my third child to raise him and be home for my older boys. 

It has been on my heart to start a blog for a couple of years. Though I loved working with children and supporting teachers in my work as a School Counselor, I realized how challenging parenting can be after becoming a parent myself. I continually sought support from other moms, read parenting books and blogs, and listened to parenting podcasts. 

It is my goal to help and support you as well! This has always been a passion of mine. As a School Counselor, it gave me great satisfaction to help teachers and parents find ways to support children. One of my biggest interests has always been about behavior. There is usually always a solution you can find to problems they have and I enjoy finding them. I am in no way an expert nor do I claim that my perspective is right. I don't believe there is a one-size fits all approach to parenting. We all come with different backgrounds, personalities, and abilities. My hope is that through this blog you will find resources and helpful tips/suggestions to make parenting a little bit easier. After all, we are all in this together!
